Living on the Island of Hawai‘i offers the extraordinary privilege of witnessing Madame Pele’s fiery artistry as her lava fountains rise and flow with mesmerizing regularity. When I first saw this piece of dendritic agate, it immediately brought to mind that breathtaking sight—the vivid energy, the movement, the living pulse of molten earth. Of course, dendritic agate is beautifully interpretive; what I see as fountaining lava, another may see as branches, storms, or rivers of light. That mystery is what makes this stone so captivating.
The triple-banded cuff measures a total width of 19.5mm and features six 14kt yellow gold accents that bring warmth and contrast to the oxidized sterling silver. The stone itself measures 23mm in diameter. The wrist opening is currently 20mm and can be gently adjusted on a bracelet mandrel for a custom fit.
